"A woman lived in the woods on the outskirts of town. Her skin was chocolate brown. Upon her head she wore a crown of bones . . ." So begins Cécile McLorin Salvant's Ogresse, an original song cycle on which she collaborates with arranger and conductor Darcy James Argue.
